Kugane (X:12.6, Y:6.1)

King of the Castle

Upon the western coast of Hingashi, caressed by the Ruby Sea, there lies the city of Kugane, the nation's sole open port. Dominating the vibrant cityscape is the majestic Kugane Castle, within whose halls a performance was unfolding, a spectacle to entertain visiting dignitaries. But comedy quickly turned to tragedy when a band of lawless shinobi stormed the castle. Ardently opposed to the influence of foreign nations, these interlopers took all present captive, the lord bugyo of Kugane included. The country now sits on a knife's edge, leaning perilously toward an international incident. Who will see that it falls to the other side?

Bosses

Zuiko-maru

To successfully defeat the enemy, it is important to avoid the frontal cone he occasionally casts. Additionally, make sure to stack together when someone is hit with the shareable damage marker. The enemy has the ability to spawn up to two bombs at a time, which will tether to a player and attempt to bind them. When a bomb is destroyed, it will remain in its original position and cause damage to anyone within its area of effect. Players who become tethered should stay on one side of the room to make it easier to dodge the large area of effect attack. Healers should be prepared to heal the entire party during his occasional Kenki Release attacks.

Dojun-maru

To prevent damage, it is important to avoid the long narrow column AoEs that extend across the entire room. It is crucial to eliminate the clones quickly in order to minimize groupwide damage. When marked with the electric circle marker, it is advisable to spread out to prevent anyone from being hit by more than their own damage AoE. Additionally, the Blue Mage spell Tatami-gaeshi is used.

Yojimbo

During the first Payday phase, gold piles will appear in the room, and Yojimbo's dog will grab them, knocking aside anyone in its path and filling the duty gauge. It is important to interact with as much gold as possible, as the dog prioritizes picking up the gold in the order it drops. When the Payday phase ends, Yojimbo will inflict damage on the entire group based on how much the duty gauge has been filled. Prepare for occasional groupwide damage from Metta-Giri. Inoshi-Katcho will cast circle AoEs first in the center of the room and then on the outskirts, so it is necessary to move out of these areas. Also, avoid the circle AoE that Inoshi-Katcho casts on himself. During the second Payday phase, follow the same strategy as before but make sure to destroy the dragon heads that are summoned. These dragon heads will cast column AoEs on players' locations and can be defeated easily. It is possible that dragon heads may be summoned after the second Payday phase as well; deal with them when the time comes.
